stuff i’m thinking about
Since Darkness is my private Wiki, it only made sense that Light be my public wiki. Thus, I took a few minutes to install PMWiki in that domain and update it with the content of the old site. This will definitely make it easier for me to keep that site updated.
Todo: find a way to checkout and return single files from the repository elegantly.
[light] has been updated with links to a few C++ libraries I’ve written. I was held up in posting this by the search for a good way to provide fresh links. In the end I settled on a CGI script that checks out the relevant source from my repository (which is now hosted on treespider) and produces a tarball on the fly. It seems like this will work fairly well. check it out.
Finished setting up Darkness, my private project management and notes server. Now working on Light, which is where I’ll eventually post my public stuff for download and link to Chora.
Right now I’m attempting to install the Horde application framework so that I can install Chora. It’s annoying because the Horde assumes access to the database named ‘mysql’ which I don’t have; my root database is named something else. How to change everything?
It didn’t work last time, let’s see if this time is any better.
